In the medical field, it is absolutely essential that a hospital have a strong and reliable t1 network backbone. It really matters more here than anywhere else and it makes sense when you stop and think about it. Oh, sure, doctors and nurses and equipment are all the different organs and parts that make up this body, but how do you think hospitals get ahold of these assets and bring them to the main stage of saving lives and helping the injured? It’s all through the internet and robust t1 networks that can handle the load.
And what a load it is. Everything from correspondence between hospitals and ministries to maintaining contact with doctors and specialists to keeping everyone in the office apprised of a situation to making sure all floors are stocked with the proper equipment and shipments are made – these are all tasks being performed all the time on a hospital network infrastructure and you need a t1 network backbone strong enough to handle the load. Otherwise, you run the risk of a hospital internet network crashing under the heavy load and that is honestly the last thing you need when you are in the middle of saving lives.
